How do you find the right dentist? I get asked that question quite often. The problem is that finding the right dentist can feel overwhelming. And the good news is that it doesn’t have to be difficult if you know what questions to ask.

Finding a dentist that is going to take care of your teeth and gums for the rest of your life is most important.
Here’s my advice when searching for a good dentist. . .

Do they have a great online reputation? You want to make sure that you read at least 6 to 10 reviews because it really will give you comfort before you make your decision. What are their credentials? Where did they go to school? Reputable schools tend to produce good dentists.

Look for a dentist who specializes in minimal invasive dentistry. This allows you to preserve more of your natural tooth, it reduces sensitivity, it is less painful and minimizes cost.

Are they personable? Is this someone you will feel comfortable working with? You’ll feel much better about your decision if you find a professional that is understanding and approachable. Our expertise is minimal invasive dentistry and we focus on honest and gentle patient care. ABOUT AMIT BHAKTA:

As a young boy growing up in southern California, it was Dr Bhakta's dream to help people look and feel their best. He enrolled at UCLA, earning a degree in Neuroscience. He graduated with honors from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, in 2004. And to further develop his aesthetic skills, he completed a cosmetic residency from USC in 2005. He believes that dentistry should be minimally invasive, which avoids unnecessary root canals and sensitivity after treatment.
